I can't believe it is already November. Time's a flyin'!
Linking up with "Oh' Boy 4th Grade" to share a bit about how I'm ringin in this month...
1.) Anyone else love a good "E! True Hollywood Story"? Something about learning about celebrities lives is just so intriguing.
2.) I love fall. If I can curl up with a blanket in a big oversized sweatshirt, I am set!
3.) Chores...I think there are some dishes in my sink that I am trying to convince to wash themselves as well.
4.) Some of my colleagues and I are heading to the Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago today to check out their "Dia de los Muertos" exhibit. Then we are heading out for a local restaurant for dinner! It's so nice to spend QT together outside of school!
5.) Alright ya'll...the fiancé and I are seeking out a fab. honeymoon destination! We are trying to find somewhere unique and different to go but that isn't over the top, going to cost as much as our wedding, expensive. Suggestions?
Sidenote: We got our engagement photos back this week and they are just too fun not to share a few....so just for kicks...
A little more serious...
A little more goofy...
My amazing photog. friend Marissa Webb captured these beauties for us.
6.) Finally something yummy to share...
I haven't made these puppies yet...but they look absolutely scrum-diddly-umptious for the season!
What are you all up to this month?
Your engagement pics are PRECIOUS!!! The goofy one is fun for the black and white is just SOOOO sweet!! Congrats and I hope that you guys find somewhere perfect to go. I enjoyed reading your currently, and don't typically watch that show but if it had "Zach" I would have loved to. Did you know he's on Franklin and Bash now? SUPER show with great eye-candy!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And I haven't seen that show yet....I shall have to look into it ;)!

ReplyDeleteI have a long list of chores today also.
ReplyDeleteWe went to Seaside, Oregon on our honeymoon. There's a mix of activities...and peace and quiet, too.
Thanks for the suggestion Mary! We will def. look into it! We are open to any possibilities at this point :)!
DeleteI LOVE that you got goofy pictures, too :) Your pictures are so beautiful and so telling about what a fun couple you are!
ReplyDeleteWe went to Denver, Colorado for our honeymoon and LOVED it. We are already planning to go back, but stay further in the mountains (maybe Colorado Springs, Rocky Mountain National Park, or one of the ski towns- Aspen, Breckenridge, etc.) Since we're from the Midwest we really loved the mountains and rock formations, but as a city Denver was also easy to get around and there was lots to do! If you head towards that area, my favorite part was Garden of the Gods (which is actually completely free to walk or drive through-- but we saw it on horseback and it was INCREDIBLE!)
And no, you're absolutely not the only one to enjoy this fall weather! Curling up with hot cocoa in a big sweater in front of the fireplace, with beautiful colors in the leaves outside... well, it just doesn't get much better!
Have a great November :)

DeleteWhat beautiful engagement photos! I can almost hear you laughing in that second picture! I LOVE Costa Rica! It's beautiful and very inexpensive! There's a ton of do (if you want!) or you can simply be lazy at a resort! I've seen that Hollywood Story too - well worth my hour!

Thanks for the idea Ashley!
DeleteOur honeymoon was in St. Lucia. We LOVED it there! We went in July (because I'm a teacher!!) and joined in on the local Color Me Red celebration! We love to do things with the locals when we travel, so if you like to also, I highly recommend this!
ReplyDeleteI def. love to get a taste for the local culture as well. I feel like it just gives me a better sense of the people and place I have visited. Thanks so much for the suggestion Krista!
DeleteLove those photos-how fun! I would have loved to watch that True Hollywood Story-that was my favorite show growing up!
ReplyDeleteNotJustChild'sPlay
Right- I feel like I got the dirt on the characters I loved so much (and it was nice to see what they are doing now ;))!
DeleteOh my goodness your engagement pictures are adorbs galore!! Congratulations! Wedding planning is just so much more fun now that the internet it at our fingertips. I got so frustrated with all the planning we packed up the whole family and flew to the caribbean for a small wedding and a party of a honeymoon. :)
