Currently and Father's Day Freebie

We finished up our Super Father's Day activity this morning for the kiddos to take home and share with their padre's mid-month!

We talked about similes and read the book "I'm Quick as a Cricket (Veloz como un grillo)" by Audrey Wood. Then we got to work writing a few similes and other statements about our super dads.

Here is one completed in English...

In Spanish...
(He even cut out a photo of Dad to make it more authentic ;))

And one even made for a brother :)!

Snag this quick Father's Day freebie in both English here (Created by Little Miss Glamour Goes to Kindergarten). And in Spanish (my translated version) here.

Now to link up with Farley @ Oh' Boy 4th Grade for this month's "Currently"!

And finally....duh duh duh...this year's class t-shirt revealed! We received them just in time to sport them on Field Day this past Friday! You def. couldn't miss us! Love it!

    Found you through Farley's Currently.
We got into it super late, but am happy to follow yours. :)
I love the color of your shirt also.
Field day and summer are all about bright colors.
At least to me. lol :)
I use to pin a ton of recipes from a Skinny Taste website.
I've tried some of them out and they were yummy.

  4. You used my Super Dad cards!!! So great! I love seeing my stuff in use. Thanks for the shout-out!!! :) It's so fun that you have class t-shirts. Do you buy them all or do your kids all send in money? That's the greatest idea! I have some recipes on my Pinterest page as well. http://pinterest.com/kristinyoung/yums/ I will warn you that some of them are NOT healthy {although delicious} but I'll probably be adding more healthy things this summer. We can trade recipe finds. ;)

As far as the T-shirts. Each kid had the opportunity to buy one for $7. I had all but two buy one, so I just purchased the extras myself :)! They are from a company called Whitney Daniels. Check it out: http://www.whitneydanielsdesigns.com/

  7. I did superheroes this year & next year, only because there were no DC/Marvel classroom decor, just generic & I was bored last summer :) I traced & painted my own Superman, Wonder Woman, etc for accents in my room. My kids loved it & it carries over so well into content & the fun stuff we can do with the kiddos.

Love your blog & will be following through Bloglovin' Looking forward to reading more :)
