First Ever Bilingual Ebook

Many of you may have seen eBooks created by some of your favorite bloggers in the past as you have perused blogs and TpT. If so, you know what a valuable tool they can be.

Some of us bloggers that collaborate at iTeach Bilinguals, decided it was time to create one of these lovely little resource filled readers - bilingual style.

Thus, today I present to you the very first ever Bilingual eBook. 

We decided to focus this first edition on "Back to School" tips, ideas and products to help all who read it get even more prepared for this quickly approaching, upcoming school year.

Second Grade Spanish Alphabet Posters

Just finished up my latest product for you all- a "Second Grade Spanish Alphabet"! 

This pack was created specifically for dual language and bilingual classrooms to reinforce second grade content vocabulary at the same time as Spanish letter sounds. I am looking forward to making a lesson of this alphabet with my students at the beginning of the year and working to tap in to their prior knowledge of the terms. Then I will share with them that by the end of the year, they will know what each of the words means, and as we progress throughout each unit of the year, they will have the opportunity to stop and share with me which words from the alphabet we are using and learning.

I am excited to try it out, and I am hoping this will make my alphabet much more interactive and a much more productive use of space in my classroom!

Attention: Week of Learning Straight Ahead!

I am so excited for this coming week! Beginning tomorrow, I will be kicking off the "Best Practices for Language Learners"(Guest Blogger Week) here at "The Second Grade Superkids"! I will start off the week tomorrow with a post by yours truly, and then each day for the rest of the week, there are some amazingly knowledgeable teachers who have volunteered to guest blog and share their wisdom on this topic with you. I think this is going to be such a great week of learning for not only dual language and bilingual teachers, but also monolingual classroom teachers who have ELLs in your rooms (which now days is almost all of us).
